The Aqua Master Tools H600 Pro substrate meter is the most complete Aqua Master Tools meter for growing. It measures pH, EC, TDS, ppm and temperature in soft, moist substrates such as soil, coco and rockwool, and just as well in your nutrient solution. One meter for what you give and for what happens in the pot.

Why measure in the pot?

The pH and EC of your nutrient solution don't tell the whole story. Salts can build up in the substrate and the pH can shift. If you measure something different there than in your reservoir, you know it's time to adjust or flush. The probe electrodes show you this without collecting runoff.

Calibration and care

pH calibrates automatically at two points (7.0 and 4.0), EC automatically at one point (EC 1413 µS/cm). Always probe moist substrate, rinse the electrodes after each reading and keep the pH electrode moist with KCl storage solution. The meter takes standard Aqua Master Tools electrodes.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference with the regular H600 Pro?
This version has probe electrodes, so you can measure in substrate too. The regular H600 Pro is for liquids only.

Can I buy the electrodes separately?
Yes: the pH substrate electrode with BNC connector (AMT1031) and the EC substrate electrode with small pin (AMT1036).
