Measure the pH where your roots are: directly in soil, coco or rockwool. The probe electrode sits on a 120 cm cable.
The Aqua Master Tools S300 Pro3 measures pH and temperature in soft, moist substrates, and in liquids too. That matters, because the pH of your nutrient solution doesn't always tell you what's happening in the pot. With the S300 you measure where it counts.
Meter and electrode apart
The electrode sits on a 120 cm cable, so you can probe a pot at the back of the tent without holding the meter over your substrate. Calibration is automatic at two points, pH 7.0 and pH 4.0. The display is black with white figures, you choose one or two decimals and after 30 days the meter reminds you to calibrate.
How to measure well in substrate
Probe moist substrate, not dry or hard soil: the electrode needs moisture to measure. Rinse the tip with water after each reading and store the electrode moist with KCl storage solution in the cap. Dried salt crystals around the electrode are normal.
