The Garden Highpro Thermo-Hygrometer Premium has the same dual temperature measurement as the Medium, but with an XXL display you can read from across the room or through your tent's viewing window: without unzipping and disturbing your climate. Range -10 to 50 °C and 25 to 90% relative humidity.

Why the extremes matter more than the current reading

Every climate meter shows what is happening now. That is precisely the number that tells you least, because you are standing there. Your lamp is on, your fan is running and the door has just closed.

What happens to your crop happens mostly while you are not there. Which is why the min/max function is the part that genuinely matters.

Three things you only see in the extremes:

• The night-time humidity peak. When your lamp goes off the temperature falls and relative humidity climbs. You read 55% by day while it sat at 80% overnight, and that 80% is where mould gets its chance. Daytime readings show none of it.
• The afternoon temperature peak. The hottest moment is often several hours after lights-on, once the room has warmed through. Measure in the morning and you miss exactly when your crop is under most strain.
• A fault that fixed itself. Extraction that dropped out for an hour and then restarted leaves no trace except a maximum that does not add up. Without a memory you will hunt fruitlessly for the cause of stressed plants.

A workable habit: read min and max each morning, note them down, then reset the memory. Two numbers a day tell you more about your climate than ten spot readings.

Daily, if you want to know your peaks per day. Leave it and you see the extremes since you last cleared it.

No, temperature only. Humidity is measured at the unit.
