A Twincontroller PRO with Motion Flow, a light sensor input and slave support, up to 7 amps.
Starting small and expanding later
The usual reasoning with a controller is to buy generously now so you can grow into it. With the PRO range that works differently, and it can save you money.
Because a PRO controller can drive slave units, you do not have to pay today for capacity you will only use in a year. You start with the controller that suits your current setup and expand by adding a slave when more fans arrive.
What you need to know:
- The maximum applies to everything. The 7 amps on this version is the ceiling for the master plus everything hanging off slaves. A slave does not increase your capacity, it spreads it across more outlets.
- Everything runs on one control. There is one sensor and one target temperature. Slaves follow the master; they have no settings of their own.
- If you exceed 7 amps, a second full controller is the right step, not a slave.
So the trade is not "more power" but "more connection points within the same power". That is exactly what you need when adding a second tent with modest fans, and not what you need when installing one much heavier extraction unit.
Technical Specifications:
- Software: Motion Flow, fixed speed around the set temperature
- Outlets: separate socket for the intake and the extraction fan
- Rating: 7 A, including any connected slaves
- Operation: 3 dials (target temperature, minimum speed, maximum speed)
- Expandable: with slave units
- Optional: light sensor, sold separately
Frequently asked questions
How many slaves can I connect?
As many as fit within 7 amps. Total draw is the limit, not the number of devices.
Can a slave hold its own temperature?
No. There is one sensor and one setting; slaves follow the master.
Can I move from 4.5 to 7 amps later?
Not by expanding. Your master's maximum governs the whole system, so anyone expecting to exceed 4.5 amps is better starting here.
What if I want to control two rooms separately?
You need two full controllers, each with its own sensor.
