An expansion unit for the SMSCOM Twincontroller PRO MK2. It gives you two extra fan outlets that follow your existing controller.

What a slave is, and is not

A slave looks like a second controller and is emphatically not one. The difference decides whether it solves your problem.

A slave has no sensor and no settings of its own. It has no dials for temperature or speed. What it does is what the master tells it: the same target temperature, the same minimum and maximum speed, the same fan speed at the same moment.

That makes a slave the answer to one question: I want to drive more fans on the same control. Extra circulation fans in the same room, for instance, or a second set in a tent running the same climate.

It is not the answer to these two:

• More capacity. Your master's maximum applies to the whole system, master plus slaves together. A slave divides your capacity, it does not increase it.
• Controlling a second room separately. A different room means a different temperature, and that needs its own sensor and therefore its own controller.

This version works to 7 amps and fits the PRO models. The standard MK2 does not support slaves.
