A root additive for the first weeks of the vegetative period, aimed at root production and through that at the plant's resilience. Suitable for soil, coco, rockwool and all hydroponic systems.

Atami sell three of these, and that is confusing without explanation

This range carries three Atami products for the root zone side by side: Rootfast, Rootbastic and the B'cuzz Root Stimulator. On the shelf they look like variants of one another, and the distinction appears on none of the three pages. In practice they differ on exactly the things you need in order to choose.

Rootbastic is the ultra-concentrated one: 0.1 to 0.3 ml per litre, ten to twenty-five times less than the rest. That is the bottle for anyone measuring precisely, and the one where a splash too much counts immediately.

B'cuzz Root Stimulator is the daily one: 1 ml per litre, every day, across precisely the first two weeks. A short, tight window.

Rootfast, this bottle, runs across the first weeks of the vegetative period and puts the emphasis on root production as a route to resilience rather than as an end in itself.

None of the three is meant to be stacked with the others. Pick one based on how you dose and how long you want to continue, and stay with it.

Roots as resilience, not as yield

This product's premise is that a larger root system makes the plant more robust, and that is a more useful way to look at it than the usual promise of more harvest.

A plant with plenty of roots has more buffer. It draws water from a larger part of the pot, so a missed watering or a hot day matters less. It can reach nutrients further from the stem, so local exhaustion around the root collar hinders it less. And it stands more firmly, which counts with heavy tops later in flowering.

Those three together mean less goes wrong, and that is where the return on a root product actually sits. Not in a direct yield increase, but in a grow that can take a knock.

In use

Mix it through the feed water and give it across the first weeks of the vegetative period. For use in soil, coco fibre, rockwool and all hydroponic systems.

Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from Rootbastic?
Rootbastic is ultra-concentrated at 0.1 to 0.3 ml per litre. This bottle is normally dosed and runs across the first weeks of growth.

And from the B'cuzz Root Stimulator?
That one is for daily use across precisely the first two weeks. A shorter, tighter window.

Can I combine them?
That is not the intention. Choose one based on how you dose and the period you want to cover.

Will this give me more harvest?
That is not the way to look at it. A larger root system mainly gives more buffer, so less goes wrong.

Why is there no analysis on this page?
Because Atami publish none for this product. Borrowing a figure from another product would be invention.
