Atami - B'cuzz Blossom Builder Liquid

Blossom Builder Liquid is the finisher from the B'cuzz line, at a PK value of 18-23, for the last two to four weeks of flowering. What sets it apart from almost every other bottle on this shelf is what Atami say about it themselves: you can use it as a stand-alone bloom feed.

Feed and stimulator in one, according to the manufacturer

Most PK products are strictly a supplement. They carry two elements and assume the rest, nitrogen, calcium, magnesium and the trace elements, comes from your base feed. Atami describe Blossom Builder Liquid differently: as stand-alone flowering nutrition and stimulator in one, which in their words already gives good results on its own.

That claim has consequences. It says the bottle holds more than phosphorus and potassium, and that is why a grower in the final weeks might choose to simplify the schedule rather than add yet another product to it.

Atami themselves recommend combining it with B'cuzz Bloom Stimulator, so standing alone is not their recommendation but their floor. What you get out of that: if you are unsure whether enough is left once you taper your grow feed, this is the bottle on this shelf that copes with it best.

PK 18-23, and the sentence that does not fit it

Atami publish PK 18-23 W/W. Potassium is therefore the higher of the two, at a ratio of roughly 1 to 1.3.

On that same page it says the higher level of phosphorus compared to potassium is what hardens the fruit. That sentence and that figure cannot both be right. We stay with the figure, which also appears on Atami's schedules, and leave the sentence out. What can be said instead: 18 and 23 are both high, and the bottle is meant for the phase where the plant is no longer setting flowers but finishing them.

The leanest dose on this shelf

0.25 to 0.5 ml per litre of feed water. That is half what Bloombastic and Rokzbastic ask for, and a quarter to a half of what most boosters on this shelf ask for.

That is not a detail. At this concentration a household measuring cup puts you well inside the margin of error: 0.25 ml per litre works out at 2.5 ml in a ten litre reservoir, and that wants measuring with a syringe rather than estimating. Mix your base feed first and add the finisher afterwards.

Blossom Builder Liquid works on soil, coco and hydro, and in any irrigation system.

Where it sits in the schedule

The last two to four weeks of flowering, so later than Bloombastic and over a shorter window than Rokzbastic. Taper it off before you flush.

There is also a tablet version under the same name, Blossom Builder Tabzz, but it is not this liquid in solid form: its ratio is inverted, with phosphorus as the higher figure. So choose on the ratio and on your reservoir size, not on the format.

Frequently asked questions

Can I really use it as my only bloom feed?
Atami say you can, and call it a feed and stimulator in one. Their own recommendation is still to combine it with B'cuzz Bloom Stimulator.

What is the difference with the Tabzz?
The ratio is inverted. The liquid is PK 18-23 and the tablets are PK 32-20, so there phosphorus is the higher of the two.

Why is the dose so low?
Because the PK value is high. Measure 0.25 to 0.5 ml per litre with a syringe rather than estimating it.

When do I stop?
Before the flush. The last two to four weeks of flowering is the window Atami hold to.

Does it work on coco?
