Why a root product belongs early and not later

Two weeks seems short for something fed daily. That window is not arbitrary, and the reason behind it makes clear straight away why carrying on achieves little.

A root system fixes its shape early. In the first weeks the plant decides how many main roots it makes, how far those branch, and how dense the network will be that it uses to search the pot. That pattern is the foundation the rest of the cycle runs on, and it is laid down while there is still barely anything to see above ground.

After that the root system still grows, but it follows the shape already there. A plant in week six does not build a new main structure because you fed a stimulator; it extends what it laid down in weeks one and two.

That is the whole reason products like this have a short window. You are steering a formation that happens once, and once it is past there is nothing left to steer.

Daily, and why that suits this product

Atami specify daily use across those two weeks, at 1 ml per litre. That is a different approach from a heavy dose given occasionally.

A young plant takes up little water, so every watering is small. A low dose repeated daily keeps the concentration in the medium steady, where a single large feed gives a spike in exactly the period when root tissue copes with it worst.

In practice: mix it into your daily water rather than making a separate treatment of it.
