The slime in your lines is a different problem from the dead roots in your pot

Every enzyme product talks about the pot. This one also talks about what sits between the reservoir and the pot, and that is a problem you only see once it is too late.

Biofilm forms in every wet line: a thin, tough layer of bacteria wrapped in a sugary matrix they use to stick to the wall. It appears wherever water stands and nutrients are present, so in your tank, in your hoses and above all in the narrow throat of a dripper. It is not dirt you can rinse out, because the matrix is anchored.

What an enzyme preparation can do about it is attack the matrix rather than the bacteria. Breaking down sugar chains is exactly what these enzymes do, whether those chains sit in a dead root or in a slime layer. That stops the film building up into a blockage.

There is a difference from a true system cleaner, and it is fair to name it. This is a preventive product you feed while plants are growing. Deposits that are already there and consist of lime or precipitated salts call for a cleaner, not for enzymes.

What it does in the pot

Alongside that it does the work you expect of an enzyme product: breaking dead root residue and accumulated nutrient salts down into sugars and minerals the plant and the soil life can use, and improving the air-to-water ratio around the roots in the process.

Bio G Power specifically call it useful in the final flush weeks, to leave the medium clean. For anyone planning to use the substrate a second time, that is the moment the treatment pays back most.

Dosing

Mix 1 ml per litre of water, which is 1 in 1000. Feed it at least once a week throughout the life cycle, or daily if you run an automatic hydro or drip system. That daily rhythm is why this product aims at the lines: a system given a low dose every day never builds a film.

Universally suitable for soil, coco and hydroponics. Store the bottle above five degrees. Do not put it in a reservoir with hydrogen peroxide: peroxide breaks enzymes down.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace a system cleaner?
No. This holds biofilm off preventively while plants are growing. Lime scale or a system that is already blocked needs a proper cleaner.

Can I feed it daily?
Yes, and on an automatic drip system that is the intention. A low dose every day keeps the lines open.
