Bio G Power - Bloom Max

An organic flowering stimulator from Bio G Power, added daily to the irrigation water at a ratio of 1 to 1000. The declaration is small and that is deliberate: 1% organic nitrogen and 2% potassium (K2O), alongside 60% dry matter and 39% organic matter.

Why those small percentages are the whole point

The label says 1% nitrogen and 2% potassium. Next to a base nutrient, which delivers many times that per litre, it looks like almost nothing. That is not an error in the declaration, it is the design of the product.

Convert it and it becomes concrete. Bio G Power give the weight of a litre of Bloom Max as 1,112 grams, so at 1 ml per litre you are adding a little over a gram of product to your water. Of that, 1% is nitrogen and 2% is potassium, which works out at something like ten milligrams of nitrogen and twenty milligrams of potassium per litre of feed water. That is a fraction of what your base nutrient does, and your EC barely moves.

So Bloom Max is not a feed and does not compete with your feed. What matters is what comes with those two figures: trace elements, amino acids and natural plant hormones. You are not buying nitrogen and potassium, you are buying the company they arrive in.

There is a practical consequence most growers want to know about. Because the contribution to your EC is small, you do not need to pull your base schedule back to make room for it. With a PK booster or a ripener you do, and that is the real difference between this product and the rest of the flowering shelf.

What Bio G Power claim for it

The manufacturer makes five points: it contains various trace elements and natural plant hormones, it is rich in amino acids, it increases resistance to pathogenic fungi, it stimulates shoot formation and the production of flower cells, and it noticeably improves the taste of the end product.

What they do not give is a starting week. Their application line mentions the growth phase, but that same sentence appears word for word on their Root Stim and their growth product, so it is shared boilerplate rather than a statement about this one. The name, the product description and their own overview page all place Bloom Max in flowering. We follow that and name no week, because they name none.

Organic cultivation and OECD 301B

Bio G Power declare Bloom Max as an approved input for organic cultivation, and state that it is produced to OECD 301B. That last one is a standard test for biodegradability, not a certification for growing. Two different things, and worth keeping apart on a shelf where every bottle carries the word natural.

If you grow under certification, always check with your own control body whether this product appears on their current list. The rules for organic production were replaced in 2022, and a manufacturer's declaration is not the same thing as an approval from your certifier.

The order Bio G Power themselves use

On their own site Bio G Power present Bloom Max together with PK 13/14 and Power Top as the complete flowering combination, and on the Bloom Max listing they write that you use it alongside Power Top for a greater effect.

If you follow that combination, keep in mind that PK 13/14 and Power Top both supply phosphorus and potassium. Bloom Max barely does, so it does not add to that load, but the other two stack. Dosing

Mix 1 ml per litre of irrigation water, that is 1 to 1000, and give it daily. Store the bottle tightly closed somewhere cool, at least 5 degrees, and frost free.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace my flowering nutrient?
No. At 1% nitrogen and 2% potassium it delivers a fraction of what your base nutrient does per litre. It goes alongside, not instead.

Do I need to adjust my EC or my base schedule?
Barely. Its contribution to EC is small, so unlike a PK booster you do not need to pull your base nutrient back for it. Measure afterwards if you are already close to your target.

From which week do I give it?
Bio G Power name no starting week for this product. They place it in flowering and prescribe daily dosing. We do not adopt a week they do not publish.

Can I combine it with PK 13/14 and Power Top?
Bio G Power recommend that combination themselves. Just note that those two both supply phosphorus and potassium and therefore stack, while Bloom Max adds almost nothing to that.

May I use it in certified organic cultivation?
Bio G Power declare it as an input for organic cultivation, but always check it against the current list of your own control body. They decide, not the manufacturer.
