A natural growth stimulator for every substrate, 1 ml per litre of water. Bio G Power do not declare an NPK for this product. They publish an organic analysis instead: 44.5% organic matter and 19.8% organic carbon.
A label without an NPK
Almost every bottle on this shelf carries three numbers: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. This one does not. Bio G Power give Growth Max an organic analysis, and that is not an omission but a different way of declaring what is in the bottle.
What it says: organic matter 44.5%, organic carbon 19.8%, organic nitrogen 2.2%, potassium 4.2% as K2O, copper 0.01%.
An NPK figure tells you what the plant can absorb immediately. An organic analysis tells you what has to be broken down first. That is a slower story, and it runs through the life in your medium rather than straight into the root.
Where the carbon goes
Nearly a fifth of this bottle is organic carbon, and that carbon is not meant for the plant. Micro-organisms in your medium live on it. They use the carbon as an energy source and in doing so release the nitrogen and the minerals locked up in the same organic material.
Whether that process nets you nutrition or locks nutrition away depends on the ratio between carbon and nitrogen. Roughly: below twenty parts carbon to one part nitrogen, nitrogen is released; well above that, the microbes tie nitrogen up instead and the plant gets nothing from it for a while. Here the ratio is about nine to one, comfortably on the releasing side.
That is why a product like this behaves as a daily supplement rather than as a weekly hit.
This is not a base feed
2.2% organic nitrogen is a fraction of what a grow feed delivers. You are not replacing your NPK feed with this, you are running it alongside. The potassium at 4.2% K2O is the only mineral entry of any size and it too is meant as a supplement.
If you are looking for the engine of growth, buy a base feed. If you already have one and want to feed the medium underneath it, buy this.
The line steps up: Root Max, Growth Max, Bloom Max
Bio G Power make three bottles in the same shape, and their analyses climb with the cycle:
- Wortel Max: 26.7% organic matter, 1.1% organic nitrogen, 2.5% K2O
- Groei Max: 44.5% organic matter, 2.2% organic nitrogen, 4.2% K2O
- Bloei Max: 58.5% organic matter, 3.0% organic nitrogen, 5.0% K2O
Each step is roughly a doubling of the one before it at the start and a smaller jump later on. In practice that means the three are not interchangeable: you do not feed the bloom bottle during growth because it happens to be open, since that is nearly twice the organic matter in the same water.
In use
Shake well before use. Mix 1 ml per litre of water, a ratio of 1 in 1000, and give it with the watering during the growth phase.
Suitable for every substrate, from soil and coco to hydro. Store the bottle frost free and above 5 degrees: it is an organic product and cold takes the activity out of it.
Bio G Power publish no week by week schedule for this line, so there is no rising dose to follow either. One ratio, right through the growth phase.

Frequently asked questions
Why is there no NPK on it?
Because Bio G Power declare this organically. You get organic matter, carbon and organically bound nitrogen instead of three immediately available minerals.
Can this replace my grow feed?
No. At 2.2% organic nitrogen this is a supplement alongside your base feed, not a substitute for it.
Does it contain plant hormones?
Bio G Power publish no hormone content for Growth Max. The claim does circulate, but it belongs to another bottle in the same line.
How does it differ from Wortel Max?
Same format and same dose, but a lower analysis: 26.7% organic matter against 44.5%. Wortel Max belongs to root establishment, this one to the growth that follows.
Does it work in a drip system?
Bio G Power state universal suitability. Do bear in mind that organic products can leave deposits in lines, so flush your system regularly.
