Organic 1 Component is Bio G Power's fully organic single-part base feed. Its directions carry two hard instructions you will not meet anywhere else on this shelf, and both cut against habit.

Do not acidify this water

Bio G Power write it with an exclamation mark: do not acidify the feed water with this product.

That runs against almost every grower's reflex, because adjusting pH is a fixed step for most people. With a mineral feed that makes sense: you set your reservoir to the value you want and you are done.

With an organic product it is different. What is in it is not a salt solution but plant material: seaweed, amino acids, carbohydrates. Adding acid to a mixture like that is an intervention in something that lives, or that soil life breaks down, and the manufacturer does not want it.

In practice: do not correct your pH with a bottle, solve it at the source. Work with water that is already in the right region, and accept that the pH of an organic schedule sits less tightly than that of a mineral one.

And use your reservoir within 24 hours

The second instruction: a prepared feed reservoir must be used within 24 hours.

That is the strictest limit on this entire shelf. Plagron allow 48 hours for a solution containing organic products, CANNA give seven days for a diluted booster, and here it is a single day.

The reason is the same in all three cases. Organic material in water is food, and a warm dark tank with a pump in it is an excellent place to eat it. What grows there is not what you set out to grow.

If you run a system where your reservoir stands for a week, this is not a convenient product. If you mix per watering or per day, there is nothing to worry about. Bio G Power add one more piece of advice pointing the same way: rinse your drippers with clean water after use.

What is in it

This is one of the best documented products in the line. Bio G Power give an NPK of 3-0-6, with a guaranteed content of 3% organic nitrogen and 6% potassium as K2O.

Alongside that they name 10% seaweed, 1% carbohydrates and 21 different amino acids. No phosphorus: that zero in the middle is a choice rather than a rounding.

What it does, in their account, is stimulate root formation, promote the hardening of crops and fruits, and improve the plant's stress tolerance.

In use

Mix 2 ml per litre of water and give it at least 2 to 3 times a week, depending on pot size and crop. Shake well before use.

Store the bottle cool and dark, out of reach of children.
