A concentrated ripener for the final phase of flowering, declared as NPK 2-10-4 and completely water soluble. Dosage 1 ml per litre of irrigation water. Suitable for substrate cultivation and open ground.

What the declaration says, and why it matters here

Bio G Power declare Power Top as an EC fertiliser, specifically as an inorganic fertiliser with primary and secondary nutrients. That is the legal product class, not a marketing choice.

It is worth knowing, because this product is often presented through the trade in different terms from the ones the manufacturer uses. You will find descriptions that cast it as a biostimulant or as a plant based product. That does not match what the declaration says, and our own page used to do the same.

For most growers it changes nothing about the result: a ripener with 10% phosphate does what it does, whatever the label says. But if you grow deliberately organically, or you want to know whether something is a mineral feed or a biostimulant, this is exactly the distinction you need. So we put the declaration on the page rather than the atmosphere around it.

What 2-10-4 means for your schedule

The weight sits on phosphate: 10% against 4% potassium and 2% nitrogen. That makes Power Top distinctly phosphate driven, where a classic PK booster puts the emphasis on potassium instead.

Bio G Power place it in the final phase of the flowering period. They state explicitly that it should only be used where there is a clear need and that the required dose must not be exceeded. That is the wording that belongs to an EC fertiliser and it is not a formality: 10% phosphate daily on top of a base nutrient that already contains phosphate is quickly too much of a good thing.

Stack it with a PK booster and it counts twice. See the PK 13+14 page from the same brand: that one supplies 13% P2O5 and 14% K2O, and together with this bottle you are running two phosphate and potassium sources in the same weeks. The calcium and magnesium displacement described there gets stronger, not weaker.

What the manufacturer claims for it

Bio G Power describe it as a fertiliser developed to enhance the ripening of buds, fruits and flowers, containing primary and trace elements that prompt the plant to begin the ripening process, so that the plant's strength goes to the fruits and flowers.

That is all they say, and it is all we put here. Claims about trichome formation, resin production and terpenes attach to this product through the trade, not through the manufacturer.

Dosing and working safely

Mix 1 ml per litre of irrigation water. Because it is completely water soluble, nothing is left behind in lines and drippers.

The manufacturer's safety instructions belong to the product class and are stricter than for the organic products in the same range. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses. Rinse immediately with water on skin contact. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using it. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label. Keep out of reach of children. Do not allow it to enter sewers or surface water.

Store it dry and well ventilated, at least 5 degrees. Ventilate the area in case of spillage and dike it with absorbent material.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an organic product?
No. Bio G Power declare it as an inorganic EC fertiliser. Descriptions elsewhere that suggest a natural origin do not match that declaration.

Can I run it alongside my PK booster?
You can, but then you are supplying phosphate and potassium from two sources in the same weeks. Preferably pick one, or go to the low end of the range on both.

How long before harvest do I stop?
Bio G Power refer to the final phase of flowering without naming a number of weeks. Plan your flush the way you plan it for your base nutrient.

Why are the safety instructions stricter than for the rest of the range?
Because the product class is different. This is a mineral fertiliser rather than a biostimulant, and that carries a different label.

Will it clog my drip system?
The manufacturer states it is completely water soluble, so nothing is left behind in the lines.
