A sugar that on paper is a nitrogen fertiliser

The name says sugar and the shelf says carbohydrate. The declaration says something else: NPK fertiliser 9-0-0. Nine percent nitrogen, no phosphate, no potassium.

That is not a detail. Bio G Power prescribe daily dosing from week five of flowering, which is precisely the period in which most growers are tapering their nitrogen off. Anyone adding this on the assumption that it is only about sugars is raising their nitrogen in the second half of bloom without knowing it.

Nothing else appears on the declaration: no carbohydrate, no glucose, no trace element. The only declared nutrient is nitrogen. That makes the choice clear rather than complicated: either you are deliberately choosing nitrogen late in flowering, or you are deliberately not.

There is a reason to choose it. A plant left entirely without nitrogen in its final weeks pulls it out of its oldest leaves, which then yellow from the bottom up. If you see that happening too early, a small nitrogen source helps. But that is a different consideration from the flavour enhancer the name points at, and you make it better with the declaration in front of you.

The 48 hours after mixing

Bio G Power prescribe using the diluted solution within 48 hours. That is a hard instruction rather than a suggestion.

The pattern is familiar for organic products carrying something to feed on: what you mix starts to live, and the clock starts as soon as the water goes in.
