C-LED is an additive C-Result run exclusively for growing under LED. The idea behind it is a real difference between LED and the lamps that came before it, and that difference is worth understanding before you decide whether you need this.
Less radiant heat, less transpiration, less uptake
An HPS lamp gives off a good deal of radiant heat alongside its light, and that heat lands directly on the leaf. An LED fixture does this far less: most of the heat it produces leaves through its heatsink into the air rather than radiating onto the crop.
Something fundamental changes for the plant as a result. Warm leaves transpire more water, and transpiration is the engine behind the flow of water up from the roots. That flow is also the transport for the elements travelling with the water, and those are calcium above all, with magnesium and the trace elements behind it.
Less transpiration therefore means a slower flow and less delivery of precisely those elements. It is why growers moving from HPS to LED more often see calcium deficiencies while having changed nothing in their schedule.
What C-Result do about it
Per the manufacturer, C-LED contains an increased and rapidly absorbable dose of nitrogen, calcium chloride, magnesium and Celtic sea minerals. The choice of calcium and magnesium follows directly from the problem above.
They also name a component they describe as statically processed water molecules. What is meant by that they do not explain, and we are not going to invent an explanation here; it is listed as they list it.
The claims they attach are eliminating the negative effects of LED lighting, stronger cell walls, higher chlorophyll production and better uptake of trace elements.
Who this is and is not for
This is an additive for one specific situation. If you grow under HPS or CMH, the problem it was built for does not arise, and there is no reason to use it.
If you grow under LED and see no problems, it is not an automatic purchase either. The alternative is correcting your calcium and magnesium separately, which many growers already do with a cal-mag product.
What this product aims at is letting you carry that correction in your schedule as one bottle rather than arranging it separately.
In use
In C-Result's grow schedule, C-LED runs during bloom at a dose that rises through the flowering phase to around 2 ml per litre. The exact week layout is in their schedule, downloadable from their site.
Add it to your reservoir together with your other feed and mix. If you use C-Result as a carrier, that goes in last. The product suits all substrates and combines with any nutrient brand.
