C-Result - Celsius Beat the Heat

A powder you dissolve into a foliar spray, meant to cool the plant under high temperatures and strong light and to counter burning of leaves, flowers and fruit up to 50 degrees.

This goes on the leaf, not to the roots

The first thing to know, because it decides how you use it. Celsius is a foliar spray. C-Result class it among plant auxiliaries and foliar feeds, and the whole instruction concerns a spray tank and the top of the leaf.

So it is not something you add to your reservoir and it has nothing to do with your substrate. Whether you grow in soil, coco or water makes no difference to this product, because it never reaches the roots.

The whole pot is one five litre tank

This too departs from the rest of the shelf, where everything is measured in millilitres per litre. The contents of the pack make exactly five litres of spray, so there is nothing to dose: you use it in one go.

Allow for that when ordering. With a smaller sprayer you cannot use half the pot and keep the rest without weighing it yourself, and not everyone owns a scale that reads 40 grams of powder accurately.

Mixing, and then half an hour of waiting

The order is fixed, and the wait inside it is the part people skip.

• Put the powder into the spray tank.
• Top up with five litres of water.
• Shake for one minute.
• Wait thirty minutes.
• Shake again, and only then start spraying.

Those thirty minutes are not slack but part of the mixing. So plan it as a task with a duration: you make the tank up, do something else for half an hour, and spray afterwards.

Spray with the lights off

Spray the plants when the lighting is off. That is not there for form's sake.

A leaf covered in droplets under a burning lamp is exactly the situation that produces scorch marks, which is the very thing you are using this product against. So spray at the start of the dark period, letting the leaf dry before the lamps come back on.

Treat the top of the leaf, and use the product at most once every two weeks. That is a ceiling rather than a guideline: spraying more often is not better.

When to use it

Under high temperatures and strong light, where the leaf would otherwise burn. It is about the heat and light load on the leaf itself, not about the temperature of your nutrient water.

Because two weeks must pass between treatments and mixing takes half an hour, this is not something you reach for once the damage is done. Bring it in at the start of a warm spell, not halfway through.

Composition

C-Result give the constituent as a natural mineral complex. Beyond that they publish no analysis and the packaging carries no percentages.
