This is not a starter pack but an introduction to the additives, and the difference is large enough to put at the top.

The box holds three 100 ml bottles: a root stimulator, a flowering booster and a foliar spray. What is not in it is the feed itself. Additives supply no NPK; they do their work alongside a base nutrient that gives the plant its nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

So you cannot grow on this box alone. You need a base nutrient with it, and for soil that is Hy-pro Terra in this range. Anyone looking for a complete pack with the feed included needs the Starter pack Terra rather than this box.

What this box does work for: you already have a base nutrient and want to know what Hy-pro's additives add, without committing to bottles of 250 ml or more. Three times 100 ml is enough to try them over one grow.

What is in the box

• 100 ml Rootstimulator Terra, for the root system.
• 100 ml Epic Bloom, the flowering booster in its soil version.
• 100 ml Spraymix, for application over the leaf.

The dose per product, and watch the first one

Rootstimulator Terra: 2.5 ml per litre during the growth period and 5 ml per litre during the flowering period. Those are two values, each with its own phase, not a range you choose within. Stay at 2.5 for the whole grow and you are giving half of what Hy-pro prescribe during flowering.

Epic Bloom: 1 ml per litre, from the fourth week of the flowering phase.

Spraymix: 5 ml per litre, misted thoroughly over the leaf every other day.
