Narcos Organic Growth Stim 100ml

A 100 ml liquid organic fertiliser for the vegetative phase, drawn from the same fermented plant and seaweed base as the rest of the organic Narcos range. You give it alongside your base feed, from the moment the plant has rooted until flowering starts.

Same dose, well over double the payload

Growth Stim doses at exactly the same rate as the root stimulator, 1 ml per litre, but there is considerably more in the bottle. Organic matter 44.5 percent against 26.7, nitrogen 2.2 percent against 1.1, potassium 4.2 percent against 2.5. At the identical dose you are therefore delivering over one and a half times the organic matter and precisely twice the nitrogen.

That gap is not arbitrary. A freshly rooted plant needs a root environment that is getting going, while a plant in full growth is building leaf and shoots and visibly pulls more nitrogen and potassium through itself. Switch from one bottle to the other without thinking and more changes in your tank than the label would suggest. Bear that in mind if you steer by EC.

What it does in the plant

Narcos aim Growth Stim at the uptake and transport of nutrients to every part of the crop, and at shoot formation. So it is not only about what you add, but about what your plant does with the nutrition already present. The enzymes in the product also keep pipework and drippers clean.

The base is a fermentation of plant and seaweed extracts carried out without chemicals. What comes out is a mix of carbohydrates, polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, plant hormones, enzymes and micronutrients. The product is certified by ECOCERT and approved for organic agriculture under EU 834/2007 and 889/2008.

When to start and when to stop

Start once the plant is well rooted. Dissolve 1 ml per litre of irrigation water and give it daily through the vegetative phase. At the onset of flowering you stop and move to Bloom Stim from the same range. A 100 ml bottle treats 100 litres of water.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from Root Stim?
The base is the same and so is the dose, but Growth Stim is considerably more concentrated: more organic matter, twice the nitrogen and more potassium. Root Stim is tuned to the rooting phase, Growth Stim to the growth that follows.

When do I switch over?
As soon as the plant is well rooted. There is no transition period in which you give both.

Can I carry on with it into flowering?
Better not. The ratio is tuned to growth, and in flowering the demand shifts. Move to Bloom Stim at the start of flowering.

Does this replace my base feed?
No, it runs alongside it. Even at 2.2 percent nitrogen this is a supplement rather than a base.
