Narcos Organic Root Stim 100ml

A 100 ml liquid organic root stimulator built on fermented plant and seaweed extracts. Made for the first weeks of a grow, alongside your normal base feed, and approved for organic growing.

1.1 percent nitrogen is not a feed

The label declares 1.1% nitrogen and 2.5% potassium. Set that against a base nutrient carrying over 2% nitrogen that you also dose five times as heavily, and you can see immediately what this product is not: it is not there to feed your plant.

The figure that matters on this label is 26.7 percent organic matter. That is the payload. What you are adding is a fermented mix of carbohydrates, polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, plant hormones, enzymes and micronutrients, and it goes to the soil life around the root. Those micro-organisms then make available nutrients that were already there and keep pathogens in check. Narcos credit the suppressive effect on soil-borne disease to the active constituents themselves.

Hence its place in your schedule: Root Stim does not replace your base feed, it runs alongside it.

Enzymes that keep your lines clear

Besides their work in the root zone, the enzymes in Root Stim do something you only think about once it goes wrong: they keep pipework and drippers clean. In a drip system that is not a footnote. A silting dripper does not throw an error, it simply delivers less water, and you notice it in the plant before you notice it in the system.

How to use it

Dissolve 1 ml per litre of irrigation water, one part in a thousand, and give it daily during the first phase. Once the plant is well rooted, move over to Growth Stim. A 100 ml bottle therefore treats 100 litres of water, which comfortably covers the rooting phase of an average grow.

Root Stim is aimed squarely at rooted cuttings and at growing in greenhouses and pots. It is certified by ECOCERT and approved for organic agriculture under EU regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace my base feed?
No. The nitrogen and potassium levels are far too low for that, and that is the design rather than a shortcoming. Give Root Stim alongside your normal nutrient.

When do I stop using it?
Once the plant is well rooted. From that point the focus shifts to shoot development and you move to Growth Stim.

Can I use it with mineral nutrients?
Yes. The product is approved for organic growing, but it does not dictate what else is in your tank. Simply dissolve it in the same irrigation water.

Does it work on cuttings?
On rooted cuttings it is exactly where it belongs: that is the stage its composition is tuned to.

How much irrigation water does 100 ml make?
A hundred litres, at the stated 1 ml per litre.
