Dry matter is the claim, and dry matter decides the taste

Most flowering boosters are sold on weight and on size. No Mercy mention that too, but add something rarer: Bloom Sensation has a positive effect on the dry matter content, and through that on the taste of the final product.

Those two things are connected. Dry matter is everything left when you take the water out: sugars, resins, aromatic compounds, cell wall material. A flower heavy with water weighs well on the plant and loses that weight again in drying. A flower with a high dry matter content keeps its weight and holds more of the compounds you were after.

It is also a more honest claim than yield alone, because you only notice it after drying rather than on the plant.

What is in it, and what is not

No Mercy keep the composition short: phosphorus and potassium in a form the plant can absorb directly, with a number of trace elements added in the right ratio to make that extra development possible.

They publish no more than that, so we add no more either. No NPK figure, no percentages, no ingredient list. Which also means that, as far as No Mercy claim anything, there are no enzymes or organic complexes in it.

Phosphorus and potassium are exactly the two elements demand rises for once the plant moves from making leaf to filling flowers, so the composition does what the label says.

It goes in first, which is why you measure afterwards

The order No Mercy prescribe is: Bloom Sensation into the water first, then bring the EC to the level you want with whichever base feed you use, and only then adjust the pH to the optimum value for your crop.

That means your EC reading is always the reading of the complete mixture. You are not setting your feed and then dropping something else in; you are topping up until the whole thing is right. Their grow schedule states the same order again, this time with Sweet Jane 2 as the bottle you top up with.

When to start

From the first phase of flowering and fruit development. On the schedule, Bloom Sensation joins at internode 10, at EC 1.2, and runs to the end of the crop from there.

From that point the schedule lets the EC climb 0.1 every four days to 1.8, and after two feeds at that value brings it back to 1.6.

In use

Mix 1 in 1000, so 1 ml per litre or 100 ml per 100 litres. Add it first to clean water and mix it through.

Then bring the EC up with your base feed to the value the schedule calls for at that point, and set the pH last.

Pair it with Grow Sensation in the phase before if you want the most out of the transition. The two do not overlap: one stops where the other starts.
