The schedule counts internodes, not weeks

No Mercy hang their grow schedule not on the calendar but on the plant. The stages are called cotyledons, first narrow leaves, internode 1, internode 2, and so on up to internode 10. Only after that does it become a phase you steer on EC.

That is a more sensible clock than weeks. Two plants of the same age are not necessarily at the same point: genetics, temperature, pot size and light all push at the pace. The number of internodes does not lie, because it is what the plant has actually built.

For you it means counting rather than ticking off. Look at the stem and count the nodes where leaf pairs come out.

The first four internodes get no feed

That is genuinely what it says. Up to and including internode 4 the schedule gives only water at pH 6.0, with a dose of Bacterial at internodes 1 and 3, and nothing else. No base feed, no stimulator.

It assumes your young plant gets through that period on what the medium holds, and that the time is better spent building soil life than building EC. Sweet Jane 1 joins from internode 6, at EC 0.8.

If you are used to feeding from day one, this is the adjustment that asks the most and probably returns the most.

7-7-7, and where that evenness comes from

Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium all sit at 7 here. That is deliberate: this is the bottle that runs longest, from the start until phase 2 of fruiting, and across that whole distance the crop's demand shifts gradually. A balanced ratio covers the distance without anything piling up.

And that last part is the line's real design idea. No Mercy put it this way: the plant lacks nothing, but no nutrients are left behind in the soil that could cause accumulations and therefore blockages. What you give gets used up.

Iron that keeps working when your pH drifts

The trace elements in the mineral part are chelated, and the iron specifically to Fe-EDDHA. That is the heaviest of the iron chelates and it is there for one reason: iron uptake stays assured even when your pH deviates from where it should be.

That is insurance, not an excuse. Measure your pH anyway. But on the day it goes wrong, this is the element that would suffer first and that is covered here.

In use

The recommended dose is a maximum of 10 millilitres in 2 litres of water for mature plants. For plants under 30 centimetres, halve it. It can be given at every watering.

Work with an EC meter rather than the measuring cup alone. The schedule gives you the targets: EC 0.8 at internode 6, climbing through 0.9, 1.0 and 1.1 to 1.2 at internode 10.

If you are also giving Grow Sensation, add the Grow Sensation first and then bring the EC up to target with Sweet Jane 1. The same order applies later for Bloom Sensation.

Around phase 2 of fruiting, Sweet Jane 2 takes over. During the transition week you may mix the two for a smooth handover.
