AC Infinity Heavy Duty Fabric Pots (7 Gallon)

Five fabric pots of 26.5 litres, 35.5 cm across and 29.2 cm tall, made from thick 500 g/m² nonwoven fabric. Built for plants that grow for a long time and need plenty of root space.

More soil, more margin

A big pot is more forgiving. Water and feed last longer, and a hot day or a missed watering hits less hard than in a small pot. You notice it most in flowering, when a plant drinks the most: you water less often and the values in the soil swing less.

The flip side is that you fit fewer plants. At 35.5 cm across, four fit in an 80 × 80 or 100 × 100 cm tent, and nine in a 120 × 120 cm tent. A 60 × 60 tent takes only one; there the 11 litre version is the better fit. Filled pots bulge out a little, so leave some room.

What fabric does for the roots

Where a root reaches the fabric, its tip dries in the air and stops growing. The plant responds by branching further back, so the roots spread through the whole pot instead of circling the wall. In a big pot that matters: the soil in the middle actually gets used. The fabric also lets air and excess water through, so the bottom layer does not sit in wet substrate.

Built for a heavy pot

Filled and wet, a pot this size is seriously heavy. That is why the 500 g/m² fabric and double stitched seams are no luxury, and why it has sturdy nylon handles for moving it. Steel rings along the rim let you run tie wire through to bend branches down (LST). Inside, a double stitch line marks how far to fill: up to there it holds about 29 litres of soil.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a cutting straight into this pot?
Better not. In that much wet soil a small cutting roots slowly. Let it establish in a smaller pot first and move it up once the roots fill the root ball.

Do I need a saucer underneath?
Yes. Stand the pot on a saucer or tray, because water drains out of the bottom and through the walls. A saucer with a rim also keeps your tent floor dry.

Do they last more than one grow?
Yes. Remove the root ball, shake out the fabric, rinse it and let it dry completely before storing or refilling it.
