A square plant tray of 29 by 29 centimetres and 4 centimetres deep, made for the square 18 litre growing pot. Black plastic, holding around 3.4 litres.
What fits on it, and what does not
This is the largest of the four square trays in the range, which is exactly why it is worth saying where it stops.
The 18 litre pot fits. It is called 30.5 by 30.5 centimetres, which sounds wider than the tray, but the pot tapers and its base falls comfortably inside these 29 centimetres.
The 25 litre pot does not fit properly. That one is 33 centimetres at the rim. Even allowing for the taper it overhangs the tray, and then part of the run-off lands beside it. For that size a large catch tray is the right answer, a Garland tray or a Fertraso plant tray.
The round 18 litre does not fit. It is 33 centimetres across, and a 33 centimetre circle will not sit in a 29 centimetre square.
The old product information named the 25 litre here, which is the reason to say this explicitly. A tray that is just too small is something you discover when water runs beside it.
What the tray holds
Around three and a half litres. On an 18 litre pot a normal watering is three to four litres, part of which stays in the substrate, so this covers the run-off comfortably.
Do not leave the pot standing in what it has collected: the substrate draws it back up, and what came out is more concentrated than what went in.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 25 litre pot really not fit? Not tidily. It overhangs the rim and part of the water lands beside it.
What should I use for the 25 litre then? A larger catch tray. The 60 by 60 centimetre Garland tray or a Fertraso plant tray is made for it.
Can I stand a fabric pot on it? Yes, as long as the base stays within 29 centimetres. Bear in mind fabric expands when wet.
How many fit on a square metre? Nine touching.
