Eazy Plug - Rooting Plugs 12 pieces

Twelve organic rooting plugs, 3.5 x 3.5 cm, in a tray. They are delivered dry, and with Eazy Plug that is not a detail: it decides how you store them and how you prepare them.

Delivered dry, and why that helps

Many rooting plugs come moist in a bag. That is convenient if you use them straight away, but an opened bag starts to go mouldy after a while or dries out unevenly. Eazy Plug delivers dry. According to the maker the plugs therefore keep indefinitely, with no risk of mould, and take up water quickly again even after drying out completely, with the same properties as before.

If you take cuttings in rounds, that means you use what you need and put the rest back in the cupboard. There is no hurry to empty the tray.

Preparing them

Stand the tray in a container of water and let the plugs soak up completely. Take them out and let them drain somewhere the water can run off. Then they are ready for seed or cutting. A dry plug is noticeably lighter than a wet one, so you feel straight away whether it has taken up enough.

Frequently asked questions

Can I let a soaked plug dry out again?
According to Eazy Plug a plug takes up water again after drying out. A plug that has already held a cutting is better not reused.

Where do I store them?
Dry, in the packaging. Moisture is the only thing that shortens their life.
