Eazy Plug - Rooting Plugs CT150 (150 pieces)

A tray of 150 organic rooting plugs, each with a cutting hole. The CT150 is Eazy Plug's largest tray and is meant for anyone taking or sowing a full batch at once.

Watering a full tray

With 150 cuttings at once, watering is the job that matters most. Too wet is the biggest mistake: a plug left standing in water gets no air to the roots, and the base of the cutting rots before there is a root.

Eazy Plug says the plugs have a fixed air to water ratio and only hold the water they need. The condition is that excess water can drain away. So do not stand the tray in a closed container where water collects, but on a grid or in a tray you drain after watering.

Only water again when the plugs become noticeably lighter or lighter in colour. With a full tray, the easiest way to feel that is to lift it briefly.

Frequently asked questions

Will the tray fit my propagator?
Measure your propagator before you order. A tray with 150 places is large and does not fit under every lid.

Can I use just part of the tray?
Yes. The plugs are delivered dry, so whatever you do not wet can still be used later.
