Eazy Plug - Rooting Plugs CT77 (77 pieces)

A tray of 77 organic rooting plugs, 3.5 x 3.5 cm, each with a cutting hole. The CT77 is the tray for anyone who takes a good batch of cuttings per round and then wants to grow them on in rockwool, coco or soil.

Transplanting without damaging roots

The most vulnerable moment for a cutting is not taking it but transplanting it. With loose media the root ball falls apart the moment you lift it, and the young roots growing through it tear with it. Every torn root tip is an opening for disease and costs the plant days.

Eazy Plug bonds the material so that the plug stays in one piece, even when it is fully rooted. You hold it by the plug, not by the plant, and set it into the next medium like that. According to the maker it fits into anything: rockwool, coco, potting soil or open ground, indoors and outdoors.

If you want to stay within the Eazy Plug system, the plug fits into the hole on top of an Eazy Block.

Frequently asked questions

When do I transplant?
When the roots come out of the bottom or side of the plug. If you wait much longer, they grow into each other and into the tray.

Do I take the plug off the cutting?
No. The plug goes into the new medium with it and the roots simply grow through.
