Aquaking Adjustable spray lance 140 cm

The Aquaking telescopic spray lance is a watering rose on an extending shaft that fits your garden hose. Ninety centimetres as standard, 140 extended, so you reach plants without stooping or leaning across your setup.

A lance is not a pressure sprayer

This distinction saves disappointment. A spray lance hangs off the tap: it delivers as much water as your hose supplies, without limit, but water only. A pressure sprayer carries its own liquid, which makes it the tool for foliar feed or pesticide, but it stops when the tank runs out.

Watering a border, a row of pots or a hanging basket is therefore lance work. Applying anything other than water is sprayer work. Anyone doing both needs both, and that is not a sales line but a consequence of how they work.

What the length is for

Fifty centimetres of extra reach sounds modest and in practice saves your back. Hanging baskets and tall pots come within reach standing up, back rows can be watered without stepping in among them, and over low trays you keep the rose above the ground instead of crouching. Set the length to the job, then collapse it again for storage.

Connecting it

The lance couples to an ordinary garden hose with an Xcellent or Gardena fitting. That is the common click system, so in most gardens it fits without an adaptor.
