The AutoPot FlexiTank 750 Litre is the largest tank in this range and the first where the floor is a genuine consideration. Filled, three quarters of a tonne of water stands on a circle 90 cm across. Before you look at the capacity, look at where it is going.
What three quarters of a tonne in one spot means
Seven hundred and fifty kilos spread over a 90 cm circle works out at roughly 1,180 kg per square metre. For comparison, domestic floors are typically rated for a fraction of that, spread across the whole floor rather than concentrated on one point. This tank belongs on a concrete floor at ground level, or on a floor you know is rated for that point load. If in doubt, choose a smaller tank or run two.
Filling and keeping track of the level
At 120 cm the filling point sits around chest height and no bucket will reach the base. Fill with a hose and stay with it. Use the overflow fitting as intended, because at this volume an overflowing tank is not a spill but a bill. If you want to read the level without looking inside, fit an external sight tube or a float.
Still a 119 cm box
The remarkable thing about this size is that it still arrives complete in a flat box 119 cm long weighing 6.25 kg. No crane, no forklift and no tools are needed to get it into position: you carry the box in, unfold it there and fill it in place. For a room with a narrow door or a staircase, that is often the only workable alternative to a rigid tank of this capacity.

Frequently asked questions
Can it go upstairs or in a loft? In almost all cases, no. Around 1,180 kg per square metre on a single point is far beyond what an ordinary upper floor is designed for. Have it assessed, or use two smaller tanks.
Will it fit through a normal doorway? Yes, it comes in folded in a 119 x 18 x 14 cm box. You only unfold it once it is in its final position.
Can I part-fill it to reduce the weight? You can, but then you are paying for space you are not using. A smaller tank is the better answer to a loading limit.
How do I get the last of the water out? The tap takes most of it. Tilt the last of it gently towards the tap, and only once the tank is nearly empty.
