Terra Aquatica AquaFarm V3 35 liter

The AquaFarm works exactly like the WaterFarm, with an air pump lifting nutrient solution through a pumping column to a drip ring. The difference is size: a 35 litre reservoir and a correspondingly larger growing chamber.

More than twice the reserve

That difference works two ways. First in how long you can stay away: a plant uses what it uses, so a 35 litre reservoir lasts well over twice as long as a 15 litre one. On a mature plant in summer that is the difference between topping up every few days and looking once a week.

Second in stability. A larger volume of solution shifts in EC, pH and temperature more slowly than a small one. Evaporate a litre out of fifteen and your EC moves noticeably; out of thirty-five, far less. That makes a bigger reservoir more forgiving, which tells most while you are still learning.

Room above the reservoir

The growing chamber is correspondingly larger, taking anything from one substantial plant to a handful of smaller ones depending on size. The system is built to carry plants to real size, including small shrubs and trees.

The build is two-part here too: lift the chamber off and you are at the reservoir and the roots. A level indicator is fitted so you can see from outside how much is left, which on a 35 litre reservoir beats lifting the chamber each time.
