Terra Aquatica

Terra Aquatica is mainly a systems brand on our shelf. It sits in two categories, but the balance is lopsided: eleven systems and parts against one nutrient item. That is worth knowing, because it means the feed for one of these systems usually comes from another brand here.

The systems

Under Growing Systems four different principles sit side by side. The WaterFarm V3 at 15 litres and the AquaFarm V3 at 35 litres are single-bucket systems. The AeroFarm 45L comes in a 2 inch and a 3 inch netcup version. The GrowStream 10 and 20 are the larger layouts with more sites. And the RainForest 72 is its own type with seventy-two sites. Alongside them sit parts: netcups in 2 and 3 inch, the CuttingBoard and the WaterPack ACS V3.

Watch your netcup size

The AeroFarm is sold per netcup size, 2 or 3 inch, and that size decides what fits your system. We stock both sizes of netcup separately, so replacing is never a problem, but order the version matching your plant size and propagation method rather than having to adapt afterwards.

The feed

Under Nutrients sits one item from this brand: the TriPart starter kit for hard water. For the rest of your schedule you will be looking at the other feed brands in that category, and the rule of thumb is the usual one: pick a line intended for a recirculating system, because that is what these systems are.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the WaterFarm and the AquaFarm?
The volume, 15 against 35 litres, and so the plant size that fits. Both are V3 versions.

Can I use a feed other than TriPart in these systems?
Yes. Do choose a line meant for recirculating or hydro, because that is a requirement of the system rather than of the brand.

Does the GrowStream need extra parts?
The product page lists what is included. We stock netcups separately in both sizes if you need to add or replace.
