The GrowStream 20 is the same flow technology as the GrowStream 10, with twenty positions instead of ten. Doubling sounds simple and mostly changes what your reservoir has to cope with.

Twice the plants on the same solution

All twenty plants share one flowing reserve. Consumption doubles while the solution stays the same, and three things follow.

The level drops faster. Twenty plants draw twice the water, and because water leaves faster than the dissolved salts do, your EC rises as the level falls. Topping up with plain water is therefore part of the routine rather than an exception.

Corrections work through faster. More plants on the same volume means the solution changes more quickly, in both directions. That makes the system more responsive and less forgiving.

Measuring matters more. At ten plants you can miss a day; at twenty, more shifts in that day. Checking EC and pH regularly stops being optional at this size and becomes routine.

What stays the same

The technology: solution flows continuously past the roots and back to the reservoir, picking up oxygen on the way with nothing standing still anywhere. Here too every plant gets the same EC and pH, so use crops with comparable needs at a comparable stage.
