Secret Jardin - TLED 26W BLOOM

The TLED 26W Bloom is a 54 cm LED tube with warm white light at 2100 kelvin. Unlike the rest of this range it goes straight into a wall socket.

No separate power supply, just a plug

Almost everything Secret Jardin make in this class runs on 24 volts and needs a separate supply. There are good reasons for that, but it also means that for a single lamp you buy two things and mount two things. The TLED skips that step: it comes with a 240 centimetre mains lead and plug, and that makes it complete.

Which suits situations where it stays at one lamp. A shelf of herbs, a cabinet, a single plant in the corner of a room, or a temporary setup you will clear away in three weeks. You do not have to work out which supply suits how many bars, and there is no second component to lose.

The drawback is the other face of the same thing. If you later want several bars fed from one point, a 24 volt system with a shared supply is more convenient, because everything then hangs off one switch. For one or two standalone lamps that does not outweigh the simplicity of a plug.

The warm light at 2100 kelvin is tuned to flowering. That two and a half metre lead is more generous than you expect, which makes positioning easy without an extension.
