Secret Jardin

Secret Jardin starts at the tent and works outward. The brand makes not only the tents but the flanges that go into them, the filters and fans that hang off them, and lighting slim enough to fit inside them. That puts the brand in three categories, and there is one detail running across all three that you want to know before ordering anything.

The tent pole decides your accessories

Secret Jardin's port and flange parts are called DF16 or DF25, and that number is the thickness of the tent pole they clamp around: 16 or 25 mm. The DF16 holder takes flanges at 100, 125 and 150 mm; the DF25 holder takes 150, 160, 200 and 250 mm. Each size has a light-proof air inlet to match, and the DF16 has a cutting set. So check which pole your tent has first, because a DF25 flange will not go on a 16 mm frame. The same logic runs into the filters and fans: the CTC80 carbon filters and the DF16E extractors carry the DF16 number because they fit that system.

Where the three categories sit

The tents are under Grow Tents: the Hydro Shoot from 40 to 150 cm, the Dark Street at 60, 90 and 120, the Dark Room 150, the Dark Propagator at 60, 90 and 120, the For Twenty 100 and the Original 60. The DF flanges and holders sit there too, along with the WebIT and WebTH, the PatchIT repair kits in three sizes, the Carry It ballast holder and the Water Liner. Extraction belongs under Climate and Ventilation: the CTC80 filters in four capacities, the DF16E extractors, the Monkey Fans, the Rubber Duct connectors from 100 to 250 mm and a heating mat.

The lighting sits under Lighting and is its own story: the Cosmorrow bars at 20 and 40 W in Grow, Bloom, Infrared and Ultraviolet, the TNOLED at 2 by 20 and 2 by 40 W, the TLED at 26 W, the TNeon TCL at 55 W in 2100, 6500 and 9500 kelvin, and the Daisy Reflectors at 60 and 80.

Cosmorrow is bought in two parts

A Cosmorrow bar needs a separate power supply, and that supply decides how many bars you can connect. We stock supplies for 1 by 20, 2 by 20, 3 by 20 and 5 by 20 W, and for 1 by 40 and 2 by 40 W. So work out how many bars and which wattage you want, then pick the supply. There are also two ready-made bloom kits at 60 and 100 W if you would rather skip that sum.

Frequently asked questions

How do I tell whether my tent is DF16 or DF25?
Measure the frame pole. 16 mm takes the DF16 holder, 25 mm the DF25. The tent's own product page states the frame.

Do the CTC80 filters fit another brand's fan?
They are designed for the DF16 system. Check the connection size on the filter page against your own duct before using them outside that system.

What is the difference between the TNeon TCL lamps?
The colour temperature, and it is in the name: 2100 kelvin for bloom, 6500 for growth and 9500 for cuttings. Otherwise all three are 55 W lamps.

Can I run a Cosmorrow bar on a different size of supply?
The supply has to match the wattage and the number of bars. A supply for 20 W bars is not meant for 40 W bars, so pick the one naming the count and wattage you have.
