Secret Jardin's ventilation is designed around their own tents. Where other brands on this category page make a fan that fits anywhere, Secret Jardin make one that clicks into their DF16 system. That is an advantage if you are in that system and something to watch if you are not.

Extraction, filtration and ducting as one set

The DF16E extractors, in 150 and 350 m³ per hour builds, are EC fans with temperature control. The CTC80 carbon filters run from 100 to 350 m³ per hour and are sized to match those same extractors. The Rubber Duct connectors in 100, 125, 150 to 160 and 250 mm join it all up. Everything is kept small and light, because it hangs off a tent frame rather than a ceiling.

Monkey Fan for the air inside the tent

The Monkey Fan is the circulation side, in a 180 mm build and a 24 volt version also sold as a duopack. That 24 volt is the point: it runs on low voltage, which in a humid tent is more comfortable than a mains fan on a clamp. Alongside it sits the 20 watt heating mat for under a propagator.

If you do not have a Secret Jardin tent

This range can still work, but then buy on dimension rather than on brand. Check your tent's port diameter against the filter or fan connection, exactly as you would with any other brand. The advantage you are buying here is the match within the system, and it disappears as soon as something else joins the chain.

Is a DF16E enough for my tent?
Look at your tent's volume and at the resistance of your filter and ducting. The smaller builds are meant for small tents, not for a grow room.

Can a CTC80 filter go on another brand's fan?
Yes, provided the diameter matches. The filter does not know what is pulling on it.
