The TNOLED 2x20W Grow is a complete set: two 20 watt LED strips in one fixture, with cool white light at 6500 kelvin, 40 watts together over an area of 60 × 40 cm.

What a complete set contains, and what that saves you

The same bars are sold individually, which makes the sum look simple: buy two bars and be done. In practice you then miss three things this set includes.

The first is the power supply. Loose bars in this range run on 24 volts and come without one, so you buy something separately and have to work out how many bars it will carry. The second is the fixture itself: the two strips sit here at a fixed spacing in one frame, so you hang them in a single go and the distribution over your crop is always the same. The third is the fiddling you therefore do not have to do.

Where the loose route wins is in adapting. If you want to swap a growth bar for a bloom bar, or add an infrared bar on its own timer, buying separately is more flexible. The set is the choice when you want a working arrangement that only needs hanging.
