A 100% organic slow-release pellet fertiliser delivering complete nutrition for up to three months. You mix it in once, roughly 50 to 200 grams per plant per cycle. This is the pellet, not the liquid All-in-One.

You dose once per cycle, not per watering

That is the whole difference from every other base nutrient on this shelf, and it changes how you plan a grow.

A liquid base nutrient gets measured out at every watering. These pellets go in once and after that you give water. Each application lasts, according to Aptus, two to three months, which covers the growth and flowering phase of most crops.

The amount hangs on your pot rather than your tank: count on roughly 50 to 200 grams per plant per cycle, depending on pot size and medium.

If your cycle runs longer than three months, apply a second treatment after two months as a top dressing: worked into the top five centimetres of soil, watering from the top.

Three ways to get it in

Aptus name three, and which one fits depends on how far along your grow already is.

  • Mix through the medium before planting. Weigh out the amount, mix it thoroughly through your substrate and plant afterwards. This gives the most even distribution.
  • In the bottom of the planting hole. Make the hole as usual, put the pellets in and set the plant on top.
  • As a top dressing. If your plants are already in their final pots, scatter the pellets over the soil, work them in lightly and water from the top.

The trick when something is missing

A slow-release pellet has one drawback: it reacts slowly, so if something falls short along the way you cannot simply correct it as you would with a bottle.

Aptus give an answer to that which is rarely written down anywhere. Pulverise the pellets and apply them as a top dressing, and they dissolve faster, bringing the nutrition to the plant sooner. That way the same product doubles as the emergency measure, with nothing extra to buy.

What is in it

It is a compounded NPK fertiliser with magnesium and sulphur, carrying organically chelated micro-elements: boron, iron, manganese and zinc. The formula also contains amino acids and biostimulants.

Aptus state that you will not normally need an additional NPK fertiliser alongside it: the pellets provide the base nutrition on their own. Separate boosters are a choice for steering further, not a requirement to complete the base.

Store the packaging cool and dry.

Frequently asked questions

How many pellets per plant?
Roughly 50 to 200 grams per plant per cycle, depending on your pot size and medium.

Do I still need to give liquid feed alongside?
According to Aptus, normally not: the pellets provide the base nutrition themselves. Boosters are a choice, not a requirement.

My grow runs longer than three months.
Apply a second treatment after two months as a top dressing, into the top five centimetres of soil, and water from the top.

I see a shortfall and the pellets are already in the pot.
Pulverise some pellets and apply the powder on top. It dissolves faster that way and reaches the plant sooner.

Is this the same as the All-in-One Liquid?
No. This is an organic pellet you mix in once per cycle; the Liquid is a mineral liquid you measure out at every watering.
