Enough for one 120 by 120 tent

The tent sets come with a concrete measure attached, unusual enough to start with: a tent set holds enough booster for a full harvest in a 120 by 120 cm grow tent. That figure is quoted throughout the trade for both tent sets and does not appear on Aptus's own pages, so treat it as a rule of thumb rather than a specification.

That lets you calculate. With a smaller tent you will have some left; with two tents that size or one larger one, a single set will not see you through. Bottles of 50 ml look small, but these products are dosed in millilitres per litre, so the measure says more about your floor area than about the bottles.

It is also why the set aims at the small-scale grower rather than someone with a grow room: past a certain area you move to the separate bottles in larger sizes.

What is in the box

Why that sixth bottle is in there

CaMg-Boost is what separates the Pro from the Basic, and it is not a luxury extra but belongs to a particular way of growing.

Calcium and magnesium are already present in tap water and in most potting composts. They are missing precisely when you grow on an inert medium or work with reverse osmosis, where the water starts clean. Aptus also explicitly advise combining CaMg-Boost with their All-in-One Liquid for coco and hydro.

So if you grow on coco or in a hydro system, that sixth bottle is the reason to choose the Pro over the Basic. If you grow in ordinary potting compost with tap water, the difference is smaller.

When comparing, note the fourth bottle as well: where this set carries P-Boost, the Basic has Super-PK. The two sets are not the same box with one bottle's difference.

There is no feed in here either

All six bottles are boosters and stimulators. Aptus write that you combine the set with a base nutrient of your choice, or with their All-in-One pellets for soil and coco.

All the liquids are highly concentrated, fully water soluble and free of ballast salts, so they leave no residue in a drip or hydro system.
