Two bottles you extend with exactly two products

The Easybox contains only the base nutrients: Bio Vega for growth and Bio Flores for flowering. No additives.

That is deliberate, and CANNA supply the next step themselves: if you want more, combine the Easybox with Bio RHIZOTONIC and BioBOOST. Those are precisely the two products the larger BIOCANNA Starter Kit adds.

So the three BIOCANNA packs are not a loose assortment but a ladder: two bottles here, four in the Starter Kit. You can begin with the Easybox and buy the two additives separately later without owning anything twice, or take the Starter Kit straight away if you know you will want them.

For a first grow, base nutrients alone are a defensible start. The additives strengthen and accelerate, but the plant grows on the feed.

Why plant-based here is more than a label

BIOCANNA is fully plant-based and vegan, and CANNA give a concrete reason for that going beyond the thinking behind organic growing.

Because there are no animal residues in it, the product cannot carry animal pathogens either, such as influenza viruses. That is a different kind of argument from flavour or sustainability: it is about what cannot be in there.

The feed also stimulates the soil life rather than merely passing through it, which is what makes the difference on a living substrate.

What is in the box

Unlike the larger Starter Kit, the two bottles here are the same size. Bear in mind that the flowering phase lasts longer: over a normal cycle you are more likely to have Bio Vega left than Bio Flores.

Certification and substrate

BIOCANNA is certified by Control Union Certifications for organic growing and is OMRI listed under the American NOP programme. CANNA attach the condition that the crop must also have been grown organically, in accordance with the international guidelines, to count as organic.

Preferably use an organic potting compost such as Bio Terra Plus: the feed counts on a substrate with soil life to convert the plant-based components.
