Canna

Canna is the brand with the most feed bottles on our shelf, and that number puts people off until they see how it is built. There are six base lines, you pick exactly one, and that choice is made by your substrate rather than by your plant. After that comes a second layer of additives whose names are the same across all six. Once you see that, you are choosing in two steps rather than out of thirty.

Step one: the base line

Under Nutrients sit Terra with a Vega and a Flores, Coco as A plus B, Hydro with Vega and Flores in A plus B, Aqua likewise with Vega and Flores, and COGR with Vega, Flores and its own Buffer Agent. Alongside those sits BIOCANNA with Bio Vega, Bio Flores, Bio Boost and Bio Rhizotonic, plus an Easybox and a starter kit. Each line is named for the medium or method it is built for, so the name is your signpost. There are also complete starter kits for Terra and for BIOCANNA if you would rather not assemble one yourself.

Step two: the additives

These sit outside your line choice: Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Cannaboost, PK 13/14, D-Block, Start and Trace Mix, and the pH liquids in several strengths and versions. Under those is one more layer for anyone who wants to steer: the single elements N, P, K, CaO, MgO and Fe, which let you top up one shortfall instead of raising your whole feed. And there are two specials from outside the grow room, for herbs and for orchids.

A warning that only fits on a brand page

Canna state for both Cannaboost and Cannazym that they should not be given together with hydrogen peroxide products. This shop sells such products, under another brand and in the same category, so you can put both in one basket here with nothing anywhere warning you. Do not give them in the same watering. Separate them in time, and read the instruction on the bottle before building a schedule.

Outside the nutrients: Cannacure

Under Plant Health sit the two Cannacure items, as a spray bottle and as a concentrate. They are there rather than with the nutrients because they go on the leaf instead of into your water, and the filing follows what a product does.

Can I use Terra feed in coco?
Each line is named for the medium it was formulated for, and that is not just a label: the composition differs. Choose the line matching your substrate and read the product page for the detail.

What is the difference between Hydro and Aqua?
They are two separate lines for two ways of recirculating, each with a Vega and a Flores. Each product page states what its line is meant for.

Why are there single elements like N, P and K in the range?
To top up one shortfall without raising your whole feed schedule. When comparing them, watch the unit: some labels state the element and others the oxide, and those are two different numbers for the same bottle.
