Three bottles instead of five, and what that means

The Easy Pack is deliberately shorter than the Top Grow Box from the same maker, and it is more useful to know what is not in it than what is.

You get the two organic base nutrients and Green Sensation. What the larger box carries alongside those, a root stimulator and a foliar feed, is not in here.

For a first grow that is defensible and even welcome. A root stimulator and a foliar feed are products with their own window and their own dose, and every extra bottle is another chance to give something at the wrong moment or in the wrong amount. With three products and one schedule there is little risk of losing track of the order.

If you want to steer more later, you buy those additives separately. The base does not change, so you do not have to switch range in order to expand.

What the quantity is based on

Plagron work from an average of four plants from start to finish. That figure hangs on your pot size and your watering habit: the assumption is a 5.5 litre pot and roughly half a litre per plant, three times a week.

There is nutrition in it for eight weeks of growth and eight weeks of flowering. If your growth phase runs longer than the two weeks the schedule assumes, no separate instruction is needed: you simply repeat the dose from the final growth week until you go into flowering.

Unlike the mineral range, organic nutrition on the matching substrates does not require you to correct pH and EC. The soil life does that work, which suits a pack built to stay simple.
