A mix of endomycorrhizal fungi to sprinkle into the base of the planting hole. The hyphal threads enlarge the surface with which the plant absorbs. Available in three weights.
This is a product you can check for yourself
With most additives you can never quite establish whether the difference came from the product or from something else in that round. Mycor Mix is an exception, and that is down to how you apply it: per plant, in the planting hole, at the start of the cycle.
So you can simply treat some of your plants and not others. Same room, same light, same schedule, and you compare at the end. Aptus point this out themselves, and it is a fairer test than anything you read on a package. If you doubt whether it does anything in your setup, it costs you one round to find out.
What the symbiosis actually involves
Mycorrhizal fungi attach to the root system and grow out from there into a net of extremely fine threads, far thinner than a root hair. Those threads reach into pores a root physically cannot enter, and pass what they pick up there to the plant. In return they receive sugars the plant has to spare.
Where this pays off most is with phosphorus. Phosphorus moves poorly through soil: around a root it is quickly used up and what lies a little further off barely reaches it. A fungal net bridges precisely that. Since phosphorus counts heavily in flowering, that is also the phase in which the difference becomes visible.
We deliberately give no figure for how many times the root surface increases. Such multipliers do circulate, but the manufacturer publishes none and we cannot substantiate them.

Frequently asked questions
Does it really need to touch the roots?
Yes, and that is the most common mistake. Sprinkling it on top of the soil does not work: the spores have to be at the root system.
How long before I notice anything?
The symbiosis needs weeks to establish. Reckon on flowering before it becomes visible, not on the first few days.
Does it work on stone wool?
No. This is meant for natural substrates.
Can I combine it with bacterial products?
Yes. Fungi and bacteria fill different roles in the root zone.
