You choose this size when an 80x80 feels marginally too tight and a 100x100 will not fit. It is an in-between size, and the range shows it: there is little here, but it covers precisely the two ways you can buy such a tent.

Separate or as a complete system

This is the only tent size where you get the same dimension two ways. The AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 733 is the bare tent at 90 by 90 by 180 centimetres. The Secret Jardin Dark Street 90 is the other route: a tent you fit out yourself. That is the cheaper and more precise path if you already own equipment or want a particular brand, and the longer way round if you are starting from nothing.

Your surrounding equipment belongs to 100x100

At 0.81 square metres you are closer in volume to a 100x100 than an 80x80. Budget Ø 125 mm extraction rather than Ø 100, a lamp in the 250 to 300 watt class, and more than one circulation fan. The tent is not what makes this step expensive.

Height is generous here

Every version at this size is 180 centimetres, which means that after deducting a hanging system and lamp you keep enough plant height for a full cycle. That is not a given at the smaller sizes, where height is often the real constraint.

Is this enough for a full cycle?
Yes. The 180 centimetre height lets an ordinary lamp hang at the right distance with plant height beneath it.

Why not just a 100x100?
If one fits, often do: the choice is wider there. This size exists for the spot those extra ten centimetres will not go.
