Two things decide the choice, and most people weigh only one. The weight the system has to hold is the question everybody asks. How far you can still raise and lower it afterwards is the question that only arrives once everything is hanging, and it decides whether you get a season's use out of it.
Load: read the figure per set
The Garden Highpro Lighthanger holds 5 kilos, enough for a light LED board. The Prohanger Regular and the Prohanger XL both hold 68 kilos per set of two, that is 34 kilos per hanger. Note that the XL is not rated higher than the Regular: the difference is the larger carabiner, which fits thicker tent poles. So going to the XL does not get you more capacity.
Adjustment range is not the same as rope length
In a pulley system the rope runs double, down and back up. Every centimetre you lower the lamp therefore costs two centimetres of rope, and part of the length is already taken up in the loop. From a metre and a half of rope you keep considerably less adjustment than you would expect. Allow for that if you have a tall tent and want the lamp to rise with the plants.
Pulley, cable or ratchet
The Fertraso Rope Ratchet is the classic ratchet: you pull the rope through and the ratchet holds. The Trinatech Easy Glider is a different answer, a two metre stainless steel cable with a push button, rated to 20 kilos per hanger and made entirely of metal. Adjusting it takes one hand, which counts when you do it weekly.
The part between the hook and the pole
The ProCufs hang nothing themselves. They are rubber rings that go around your tent pole, for poles up to 5 centimetres, and they solve two things a metal hook on a metal pole causes. It slides, so a filter hanging heavier at one end slowly walks toward the middle. And it taps, because a running fan puts its vibration straight into the frame. The rubber in between removes both.

Is the XL stronger than the ordinary Prohanger?
No. Both hold 68 kilos per set. The XL has a larger carabiner for thicker tent poles, and that is the whole difference.
How much can my tent frame actually carry?
That is stated with the tent, not with the hanger. A hanger rated at 68 kilos is pointless on a frame designed for far less, so check both.
Why does one product show two very different weights?
You are looking at breaking load alongside working load. The first is where the material fails in a test, the second is what you may hang on it daily. Always go by the working load.
Do I need this for a light LED lamp?
You need something, if only to be able to adjust it. For a light board the lightest version is enough.
