Substrates & Growing Media — Eazy Plug

Everything from Eazy Plug on this page belongs to one system. The plug is for the start, the Eazy Block for the week and a half after that, and the Eazy Pyramid for the rest. You can also use just the plugs and then set them into rockwool, coco or soil.

What to watch

The material has to be able to lose excess water. A plug, block or pyramid left standing in water gets no air to the roots. Stand them on a grid or in a tray you drain after watering.

Frequently asked questions

Do I soak the plugs first?
Yes. They are delivered dry. Let them soak up completely and then drain.

Do I need rooting powder?
According to Eazy Plug, no. If you do use it, it does no harm.
