Most brands in this category sell you a fan and leave you to find a filter that can take the resistance. G-Tools does it the other way round: the sets on this page are fan and filter together, in a combination already matched to each other. If you would rather not work out how much pressure a filter costs, that removes the main calculation.

Two sizes, three ways of controlling them

Everything here is 125 or 160 mm. Per size you can choose a two-speed fan, a version with a controller, and a temperature-controlled version that responds to the heat in the room by itself. The sets pair those with a PK Eco filter. Alongside them sit the separate 125 mm Mini extractor, a silencer and an air inlet.

When a set makes sense and when it does not

A set is the simplest route if you are starting fresh and fit within these two sizes. If you already have a filter, or you are on another diameter, a set means buying something twice. In that case the separate fan is the better pick and you choose the filter on your own throughput.

With two-speed you pick high or low yourself. A temperature-controlled version adjusts its speed to the measured temperature without you intervening.
