Fertraso is not a product line here but a set of separate items spread over seven different categories. There is no Fertraso system that everything plugs into, and that is deliberate: the brand makes the plain version of a thing in each corner of the shop, with no app, no port and no ecosystem around it. If you are looking for a brand to build a whole room around, this is not it. If you want one item that does what it says, you often end up here.
The seven places Fertraso appears
The centre of gravity is Climate and Ventilation: floor, wall, standing, box and clip fans from 15 to 50 cm, the Pro Deluxe versions at 45 and 50 cm, and two ceramic heaters. Under Measuring and Control sit the controllers: the fan controller with and without thermostat, the Smart controller, the FTC Twin and the software-driven FCC, plus the separate FTS temperature sensor, a thermo-hygrometer and a time clock. Under Lighting you will find HPS and metal halide lamps at 250, 400 and 600 W and the Rope Ratchet hanging system.
Beyond that there are three Flextrays and three square garden trays at 80, 100 and 120 cm under Pots and Trays, the Propagator Pro 70 under Substrates and Growing Media, two drying nets under Harvesting and Drying, and under Installation and Electrics the cabling: power connectors and IEC cords at 2 and 4 metres, including an angled one.
What the controllers do and do not decide
Fertraso controllers work on current, not on brand. What you can hang off one is limited by the rating printed on it, and that rating is on each product page. So they will drive another brand's fan just as well. Do note the distinction: the fan controller without thermostat holds a fixed speed, while the thermostat version and the FCC drive on measured temperature, and there the sensor is the part that decides what the controller sees.
The name is not always on the product
Under Installation and Electrics the Fertraso items carry no brand name in the title; they are power connectors and cords you would search for by type. They are filed under this brand all the same, so arriving here from a search for Fertraso still shows them in the list.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put a Fertraso controller on another brand's inline fan?
Yes, as long as the fan's power draw stays under the controller's rating and the fan is speed-controllable. Both are on the relevant product page.
What is the difference between the plain fans and the Pro Deluxe?
We stock the Pro Deluxe at 45 and 50 cm in three arrangements: standing, wall and rotating on the floor. Check the product page for the version, because what is available differs per size.
Does the FTS sensor go with every Fertraso controller?
Not with all of them. A controller with no thermostat function does nothing with a sensor. Check the controller's own page for whether an external sensor can be fitted.
