The fans on this page do something other than the inline fans elsewhere in this category. An extractor takes air out of your room; these keep the air already in it moving. You need both, and one does not replace the other.

Why circulation is a separate problem

A tent without circulation develops dead zones: warm air sits under the lamp, humid air stays among the leaves and the floor stays clammy. Extraction does not fix that, because it only pulls along the shortest route to the flange. Moving air evens out the climate and keeps leaves moving, which builds sturdier stems.

Four shapes, and the choice is about placement

The 15 cm clip and desk fan mounts to a bar or pole, useful when there is no floor to spare. The floor fans from 30 to 50 cm blow upward through the crop from below. The wall fans in 40 and 50 cm get that off the floor. The pedestal and rotating Pro Deluxe models in 45 and 50 cm cover more area by turning as they run. Choose on where you can put it and the height you want movement at, not on wattage alone.

Heating belongs to the same problem

Fertraso also stock ceramic heating in 2 and 3 kW. In an unheated room the temperature drops overnight, and that costs more than most people expect. Always pair heating with circulation: warm air that stands still gathers at the ceiling and never reaches the crop.

Frequently asked questions

How many circulation fans do I need?
Enough to move the leaves gently, everywhere. One large fan is often less effective than two smaller ones at different heights.

Should the fan blow straight at the plants?
Not from close up and not continuously at the same spot. You want movement, not constant wind on one leaf.
