Nutrients — Bio G Power

Bio G Power is organised around how much you want to control yourself. If you want it simple, take a one-component feed and you are done. If you want to steer, there is an A+B base per substrate with separate concentrates for adding nitrogen or potassium on their own. Same crop, two ways of working.

How the range is built

The one-component lines come as Soil and as Organic. The A+B base nutrients are there for soil and for coco. Alongside them the Max series, with Groei Max, Wortel Max and Bloei Max, and separate products including Organic Boost, Power Top, Sugar Candy, foliar feed, Calcium MG, PK 13+14 and Ashley Fert Zym. For pH there are pH Plus, pH- Bloom and citric acid.

The Max series is a rising range

Groei Max, Wortel Max and Bloei Max look like three versions of one product, but Bio G Power publishes a separate analysis for each and those analyses step upward. They are not interchangeable, and one will not fix a shortfall left by another. What each product declares is on its own product page; we take those figures from the manufacturer rather than from one another.

Concentrates instead of raising the whole schedule

The separate monos, nitrogen and potassium, exist to adjust one element without lifting everything else with it. That is what you want when the leaf shows a shortfall while the EC is already high enough. Raise the base feed instead and you correct one element while overfeeding the other seven.

Frequently asked questions

One component or A+B?
One component is less work and less room for a measuring error. A+B gives you more control over the ratio through the cycle.

Can I use the soil A+B in coco?
There is a separate Coco A+B, and it exists because coco asks for a different calcium and magnesium balance.

Do I need the Max products alongside the base?
No. The base feed is complete. The Max series is for reinforcing a phase when you want to.
