At 90x90 you move from Ø 100 to Ø 125 mm, and that is the main decision on this page. It is not a small step: Ø 125 mm is the deepest size in the whole range, in both fans and carbon filters, so you go from a limited choice to the widest there is.

Why the changeover sits here

A square 90x90 has well over twice the volume of an 80x60, and that is exactly where Ø 100 mm loses its reserve once a filter goes on. At Ø 125 mm you buy that reserve back without making a larger fan work harder.

Fan and filter in the same size

You need no reducer here. Fans include the Can-Fan RK 125L at 350 cubic metres per hour and the full Vents programme in centrifugal, mixed-flow and DUO versions. Filters include the Prima Klima Eco and Industry lines, the Can-Lite in two sizes, the Can-Filters Inline and a Rhino.

Complete combinations come in this size too: the AC Infinity air filtration kits with fan, filter, ducting and mounting together, the PRO version adding the Controller AI+ and its climate probe, and the G-Tools mini fan with a Prima Klima filter. What this selection does not include

Ducting, couplers and silencers sit in their own groups and are not tied to a tent size. In Ø 125 mm the choice of silencers is wide, which starts to matter at this size because you will hear the fan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still use Ø 100 mm here?
Without a filter and in a cool room it just about gets away with it. With a filter, Ø 125 is the sensible choice, and the extra cost is small against a system that runs tight.

Separate parts or a kit?
A kit if you are starting from nothing and want everything to fit for certain. Separate parts if you want a specific fan or already own something.

How much circulation over this area?
Two small fans, one above and one below the canopy, work better here than one large one.
