Lighting — Secret Jardin

Secret Jardin's lighting does something other than the fixtures you hang above a tent. These are narrow bars you place beside or between plants, to put light where the main fixture does not reach. If you are after a replacement for a 300 watt LED, this is the wrong page; if you want to light the lower canopy, it is exactly the right one.

Cosmorrow, in four colours and two lengths

The Cosmorrow bars come as 20 watt in the L50 length and 40 watt in the L90 length, each in four versions: grow, bloom, infrared and ultraviolet. Grow and bloom are used as a supplement per phase; the infrared and ultraviolet versions are targeted additions to an existing spectrum rather than base lighting.

The driver is not included, and that is deliberate

This is where orders go wrong. Cosmorrow bars run on a separate power supply, chosen on the number of bars you intend to connect: there are versions for 1x20, 2x20, 3x20, 5x20, 1x40 and 2x40 watt. Order bars alone and nothing lights up. If you plan to expand later, take a supply with headroom now, because a second bar will not fit a supply sized for one.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a Cosmorrow as my only light?
For cuttings and young plants that can work. For a full bloom it is supplemental light, not a replacement for a main fixture.

Which power supply do I need?
Count the bars and the wattage, and take the supply listed for it. Do not mix 20 and 40 watt bars on one supply without checking that it is allowed.
